1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to your access to and use of iGhost, including our website, mobile application, privacy tools, exposure reports, monitoring features, removal-request workflows, alerts, content, integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
iGhost is operated by Trust Trax Technologies, LLC. In this Policy, “iGhost,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Trust Trax Technologies, and “you” and “your” refer to the individual or organization using the Services.
This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to follow it. If you violate this Policy, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Services and take other action as permitted under our Terms of Service.
2. Purpose of this policy
iGhost is a personal privacy-management service. It is designed to help you:
- Understand where your personal information may appear online
- Identify privacy and identity-exposure risks
- Monitor any personal or sensitive information you choose to monitor
- Request removal, suppression, correction, or opt-out of eligible personal information
- Take steps to improve your privacy and account security
The Services are not designed for surveillance, investigations, background screening, people-tracking, account access, law-enforcement activity, credit decisions, employment decisions, or any other use that could unfairly affect another person.
3. Permitted use
You may use iGhost only for lawful, authorized, and privacy-protective purposes.
Appropriate uses include:

- Using monitoring, alerts, recommendations, and privacy tools to protect accounts, devices, and information you own or are authorized to manage.

For example, an authorized parent or legal guardian may be able to act for a minor. A person may also authorize you to help manage their privacy. Depending on the request, the iGhost privacy platform, or a third-party source, may ask for proof of identity, signed authorization, a power of attorney, proof of guardianship, or another form of verification. You are responsible for ensuring the information you submit is accurate and that every request you make is truthful, authorized, and lawful. Do not submit a removal request simply because you dislike, disagree with, or want to hide information about another person. Removal requests must relate to personal information you are entitled to manage.
